Gas Fireplaces
Traditional or linear, two-sided or counter height — instant heat with almost no upkeep.
Traditional or linear gas fireplace?
Traditional models mimic classic wood-burning designs with realistic logs and embers and suit most house styles. Linear models give a wide horizontal flame and a panoramic view, which suits contemporary rooms. Both ignite instantly, heat efficiently and need little maintenance.

Gas Fireplaces questions
Will a gas fireplace work in a power cut?
With a backup battery supply, yes — you can use it through a winter storm without worrying about the cold. Gas fireplaces are a genuinely useful backup heat source in this part of the Hudson Valley.
What is the difference between traditional and linear?
Traditional models copy classic wood-burning designs with realistic logs and embers. Linear models give a wide, horizontal flame and a panoramic view. It is an aesthetic decision more than a heating one.
How much maintenance does a gas fireplace need?
Minimal — there is no ash or soot to clean up. We do offer gas cleanings on units we installed, which freshen the glass, change the batteries, re-do the glowing embers and check the burner for cracks.
Can I have a two-sided or counter-height fireplace?
Yes. The types and styles are as broad as your imagination — two-sided, counter height, traditional or sleek and modern. Bring the room and the wall you have in mind and we will tell you what is possible.
